Hello!

I'm Danielle! Most people call me Dani, but either is absolutely fine! I am the face behind the camera at Loftin Ridge Photography. I am located in Southern Illinois, where I was born and raised.

I can't remember a time when photography wasn't important to me. For as long as I can remember, I have always had a camera in my hand. From my mom's Minolta film camera, snapping action shots at my nephews' and nieces' sporting events, to capturing all of my boys' milestones. I've always been "the girl with the camera." I love taking pictures, and I love sharing them.

Do I have a specific "niche"... Nope! I love photographing it all. From fresh newborns to 60th wedding anniversary sessions and every season in between. I want to help tell your ever- evolving story.

My shooting style is very laid back, my editing tends to stay true to natural tones, and golden light is my absolute favorite time of day to shoot. Give me all the warm tones, and sun flares!!!

My family sessions aren't all about perfect poses or smiles (we will defiantly get those too!) They are guided by simple prompts, natural light and real, unscripted moments. Whether we are chasing the sunset during golden hour through a field or just cuddling close on a quilt, I strive to make each session comfortable, natural and fun.

I know it is very cliché, but I believe that life goes by in the blink of an eye. Days seem to pass by in a blur. I want to capture your "blur", to stop time for just a moment, and give you priceless memories of a time that once was. I believe your story is worth documenting just as it is.
